The VirulentPred 2.0 is an improved version of VirulentPred web-server  (Garg, A. and Gupta, D. 2008). Prediction model used on this web-server is trained and evaluated with the latest datasets of virulent and non-virulent proteins. Moreover, latest machine learning (ML) techniques are used to develop the weighted ensemble model. PSSM profile of proteins are used as input features for ML models to predict the virulence status of a protein sequence.
